So Osama is dead...

Do we, as a nation, honestly believe that our country is safe now?  Or deep down in our hearts do we know that there will be hell to pay for his murder?  We blame 9/11 on all of the terrorists organizations around the world, and fail to realize that we may also be to blame.  For a country that can't tend to its own, and feels the need to run to any country we think "needs help" are we really surprised that it happened?  Don't get me wrong, it was a TERRIBLE tragedy, but most likely one that will again be either attempted, or repeated.

And who will we blame this time?  Hussein is dead.  Osama is dead.  I read an article that brings out a very valid point: given Osama's age, do we not really believe that younger and more vicious "leaders" were not chewing at the heels of Osama for their chance to wreak vengeance on the horrible country we live in?  There is always someone younger and hungrier right behind.

I pray for our nation's sake that this is just some crazy, wild theory that is only running around in my head. But I'm sure many of those that "lead" and "guide" our country are contemplating the same thoughts.  Our vengeance upon terrorism will not go unanswered.  And when the fury of hell hits our country, I hope the ones that got us into these situations know how to get us out, safely, and as the great country we once were.
